O my master, O Messenger of Allah, my poems have been honored by praising you, meticulously crafted. Your praise today, I seek favor from you tomorrow, for intercession, so grant me a share of it. Like Ka'b, who excelled and was raised high above others, and was honored by both humans and treasures. I have dedicated my nights to praising, until I heard someone say, "I have never seen anyone like him." At your door, a sinful servant seeks refuge, O best of people, with a radiant face, standing. Through you, he seeks forgiveness for his mistakes, his eyelids moist with fear, shedding tears. Even if he is likened to a stone, as long as he continues to shed pure and fragrant tears. In eternity, his verses will be exchanged for chambers. The praise in it is beyond measure, and may it continue to be praised in you as long as I live, for I do not see my praise turning away from you.
